The Front Range Biological Safety Association (FRaBSA) is inviting speakers to submit abstracts for our Virtual Biosafety Symposium which will be held on November 20th, 2026 from 8am-5pm Mountain Time. Presentation timeslots for speakers will be about 45 minutes depending on the number of submissions and speakers selected including presentation and questions.
We are encouraging submission on the following topics based upon the interests of the FRaBSA membership:
- Animal Biosafety
- Synthetic Biology
- Biosecurity
- Dual Use Research of Concern
- AI & Biosafety
- Clinical Biosafety & Viral Vectors & Gene Therapy
- Compliance and Training
- BSL-3 Laboratories and Finishes
- Risk Communication Strategies
- Permits and Regulatory Updates

This symposium (which will be a full day) can be utilized as 1.0 CM points toward RBP/CBSP recertification. For certification maintenance points for other professional certifications, please contact those various certifying organizations (ABIH, BCSP, etc.). Attendance certificates will be issued for those individuals who login. The links to the various invitations for the symposium will be unique to the user and cannot be shared.
